Terms of Service
Last updated: 25 September 2026
1. Who we are and how these Terms apply
PBXGuard is a service of World SIP Ltd, a company registered in Mauritius (BRN C16143836), 4th Floor, Axis Building, 26 Bank Road, Ebene, Mauritius ("World SIP", "we", "us").
These Terms of Service ("Terms"), together with the Refund & Cancellation Policy, the Service Delivery Policy and the Privacy Policy, form the agreement between you and World SIP for the use of PBXGuard (the "Service").
You accept these Terms by creating a PBXGuard account. Each acceptance is recorded with its date and the version of the Terms accepted.
PBXGuard is provided to businesses and professional users only. By accepting, you confirm that you act in a professional capacity and, if you accept on behalf of a company, that you are authorized to bind it.
2. The Service
PBXGuard is a cloud-based monitoring and remote-management (RMM) service for 3CX phone systems, version V20 or later. It is agentless — nothing is installed on your PBXs — and is delivered entirely online through your account at pbxguard.com.
We continuously develop the Service and may add, modify or remove features. Changes that materially reduce the Service you pay for are announced in advance.
3. Your account
- Provide accurate, current information when you register, and keep it up to date.
- Keep your login credentials confidential.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account, including the activity of the users you invite.
- Notify us immediately at contact@pbxguard.com of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Your PBXs
To be connected, a PBX must run 3CX version V20 or later, be reachable over HTTPS, and be added with a 3CX System Owner account.
By adding a PBX, you warrant that you own it or have the owner's authority to connect, monitor and administer it. This warranty is essential: PBXGuard relies on it for every PBX on your account.
You remain responsible for your PBXs, their hosting and their configuration. PBXGuard monitors your PBXs; it does not host or operate them.
5. Remote actions
The Service can execute actions on your PBXs — triggered manually or through rules you configure. Every action is executed on your instruction and under your responsibility. You are responsible for the rules you configure and for the consequences of the actions you trigger or schedule on your PBXs.
6. Free trial
Every account starts with a 7-day free trial, including up to 3 PBXs, with no payment card required.
Each PBX is eligible for one free trial. A PBX that has already been through a free trial cannot start another one, on any account.
At the end of the trial, monitoring stops unless you subscribe. Your account and settings are kept.
7. Subscription, billing and cancellation
Billing, payment methods, subscription changes, cancellation, account deletion and refunds are governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy, which is part of these Terms.
Prices are published at pbxguard.com/pricing. Price changes are announced by email at least 31 days before they take effect, and never affect a period you have already paid.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- access or attempt to access PBXs you are not authorized to manage;
- disrupt or degrade the Service or its infrastructure, circumvent its limits or quotas, or use unauthorized automation against the Service;
- probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Service, or attempt to breach its security;
- copy, resell or sublicense the Service, other than through the features provided for that purpose;
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose;
- provide false registration or billing information.
9. Suspension
We may suspend your access or the monitoring of your PBXs if: you materially breach these Terms (including section 8); a payment fails (as described in the Refund & Cancellation Policy); we identify fraud or abusive payment disputes; or the security of the Service or of third parties is at risk.
Suspension is immediate where security or unlawful use is involved; in all other cases, we notify you first and give you the opportunity to remedy. Periods of suspension caused by your breach are not refunded or credited.
10. Termination
You may end this agreement at any time by cancelling your subscription or deleting your account, as described in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
We may terminate this agreement if you materially breach these Terms and do not remedy the breach within 14 days of our notice — and immediately in cases of fraud, unlawful use or serious security risk. Upon such termination, the effects of account deletion apply: monitoring stops, your access is closed, your data is erased, and invoices and payment records are retained as required by law. No refund is made.
11. Your data
Your data remains yours — your monitoring data, your configurations, and the credentials of your PBXs. You grant us the limited rights needed to host and process this data for the sole purpose of providing the Service.
PBX credentials are stored encrypted and used only to operate the Service. We never sell your data.
The processing of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. Our Data Processing Agreement, published at pbxguard.com/dpa, applies automatically.
12. Availability and support
We target 99.95% service availability. This is an operational target, not a contractual commitment: it creates no right to credits, refunds or compensation.
Support is provided as described in the Service Delivery Policy.
13. 3CX and third parties
World SIP is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by 3CX. "3CX" is a trademark of its owner, used here to identify compatibility only.
The Service depends on the software interfaces of 3CX, which may change at any time. We use reasonable efforts to adapt promptly; a change made by 3CX may temporarily affect some features, and such an event is not a breach of these Terms.
14. Intellectual property
The Service — its software, design and documentation — is and remains the property of World SIP and its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it for the duration of your subscription, free trial included. PBXGuard™ is a trademark of World SIP Ltd.
Your data remains yours (section 11). If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them freely, without obligation.
15. Disclaimers
PBXGuard is a monitoring tool: it reports problems on your PBXs; it does not prevent them. Remote actions run only on your instruction (section 5).
- Notifications are delivered on a best-effort basis: the delivery of any given alert — including by email — depends on networks and providers outside our control, and is not guaranteed.
- Monitoring is based on periodic checks: data may contain gaps and is provided for information. You remain responsible for the operation of your PBXs.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of uninterrupted or error-free operation.
- PBXGuard is not a backup service, a security service or a telecommunications service.
16. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential damages — including loss of profits, revenue, business, data or goodwill, or business interruption;
- World SIP's total aggregate liability under these Terms is capped at the amounts you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability arising from fraud or willful misconduct.
17. Indemnification
You will indemnify and hold World SIP harmless against third-party claims, and the resulting damages and reasonable costs, arising from: a breach of the authorization warranty in section 4; remote actions you triggered or configured (section 5); or your use of the Service in breach of these Terms or of applicable law.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes are announced by email at least 31 days before they take effect. If you do not agree with a change, cancel your subscription before its effective date; continued use after that date constitutes acceptance. The date at the top of this page identifies the version in force.
19. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Mauritius. Any dispute arising from these Terms or from the Service is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Port-Louis, Mauritius.
20. General
- Entire agreement. These Terms and the policies they reference form the entire agreement between you and World SIP regarding the Service.
- Severability. If a provision is held invalid, the remainder stays in force.
- No waiver. Not enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it.
- Assignment. You may not assign this agreement without our consent; we may assign it to an affiliate or in the context of a merger or sale.
- Force majeure. Neither party is liable for a failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
- Notices. We notify you at your account email address; you notify us at contact@pbxguard.com.
- Language. These Terms are drafted in English. Where the Service, its documentation or our communications are offered in other languages, the English version prevails over any translation.
- Survival. Sections 11, 14, 15, 16, 17, 19 and 20 survive the end of this agreement.
